grade DC trip April 28-May 3rd

It was a miracle I even got to go on this trip as I almost didn't come back after Christmas break.  Long story short, admin. decided to put my job back on the market in hopes they found someone who had a social studies degree.  Makes sense, right?  They have no managerial or communication skills, just throwing weight around.  That's the short story.  Needless to say, no one applied so I stayed, but I did have my resignation letter ready (written by David and edited by me) for the first day back in January.  I couldn't find peace in that decision, so I went back.

I love our 8th graders and was thankful to be able to go!  We left at 2am on Monday and got home about 9pm on Friday, and it was GO every day and every minute in between.
