Spring break 2012

Hannah's first live General Conference
It was beautiful on Sat., but on Sunday it was rain and snow

after conference Haylee made us dinner in her cute apt.  Dad and Hannah were a bit bored;)

chicken with mushrooms, asparagus and potatoes!  Yum!

waiting for Hannah and Dad to get back from their walk on Temple  Square

peep smores for dessert:)

poor little peep

We stayed at David's parents' Sat. and Sun. night and then left on Monday for Denver to go house hunting.
I introduced Hannah to my very good friend's daughter Abby.  They had a good time swimming, playing and eating.  This friend is what will make moving to Denver easier.  Love her!

We did put an offer on a couple of houses, one being a short sale, so we'll see how they go.  so far, this one is working out, and we'll be excited when it's all said and done, and not until:\

We took a slight detour on the way home through Wyoming to see if we could find the wild horses.  It was 30 degrees with 50mph winds, but some of us got out and looked over the edge anyway:)
the road goes up to the top of the bluffs and the views are amazing!

We found a few, and were glad to find them:)
As we were driving home on the Sat. before Easter our realtor here called and said we had another offer!  It looks like things are all working out in the right direction, and we're trying to have faith, but it's been so up and down that we're just holding our breath until it's all said and done and all the papers are signed.  But we are grateful it seems to be working....

I took the opportunity to take some pictures of out beautiful Columbia Gorge on our way through..

And of course I can't not include my cute if not funny daughter and her interesting dress style...
dress with dirty, puffy coat (if you could see the back you'd see a hole  package taped together), sweats, because she hates tight things and flip flops.  Someday she'll cringe when she sees these, but for now she really doesn't care:\
Easter was pretty calm with just the 3 of us.  I managed to get Easter treats before we left, but didn't even think of dinner:\  At least dessert was good:)
it is nice to have Daddy home on Sundays!

happy Easter!
